Doublestack presentation wins silver
On Thursday evening, POS TUNING received silver for its horizontal ice cream cup presentation solution. 37 submitted projects were selected by the SHOP! D‑A-CH Association were assessed in jury sessions and the best received the coveted prizes in Neuss (Germany) in the evening. POS TUNING won in the “Innovation” category and has now brought home its second trophy with this product.
“We are delighted with this award because it shows us that we have understood exactly what our customers want and need with this product. The implementation with a great team and the communication with our clients went perfectly right from the start,” says Frank Lanzendorfer, Customer Director Business & Category Development CPG at POS TUNING. He and Timm Becker, Head of Marketing at POS TUNING, received the award on behalf of the entire team.
The ice cream channel is a new form of product placement in the frozen food section. Instead of the conventional upright presentation of ice cream cups, they are now stored horizontally in the freezer cabinet. This creates a completely new look at the front of the shelf, giving the products greater shopper awareness and better orientation. Shelf maintenance is also made easier and faster for employees on the shop floor. The tedious pulling to the front — which is particularly difficult in the frozen food section — is no longer necessary, as the products slide to the front automatically thanks to the proven pushfeeds with built-in spring mechanism. Another special feature is the use of the second level. This not only makes optimum use of the available shelf space, but also draws attention to the product. This is a real added value for brand manufacturers, as it literally sets them apart from the competition.
POS TUNING had already won the Display Superstar Award last year with the ice channel. The magazine “Display” awarded the product gold in the “Shelf” category and also presented POS TUNING with the special prize for innovation.
The company is also no longer a stranger to the SHOP! Award, the company is no longer an unknown quantity. Last year, the Energy Zone already won the SHOP! Global Award in gold and in 2023 the POS T.Rex was also awarded.
Store! is a global, non-profit trade association representing more than 2000 member companies worldwide. The aim of the association is to promote the improvement of retail environments and experiences. The SHOP! awards recognize outstanding achievements in POS marketing: from classic POS materials and digital media to complex sales support measures. There are various categories into which applicants can be classified. These include visual merchandising, retail design, shopfitting, shop-in-shop systems and flagship stores.
