Doublestack presentation wins silver

On Thurs­day evening, POS TUNING recei­ved silver for its hori­zon­tal ice cream cup presen­ta­tion solu­tion. 37 submit­ted projects were selec­ted by the SHOP! D‑A-CH Asso­cia­tion were asses­sed in jury sessi­ons and the best recei­ved the cove­ted prizes in Neuss (Germany) in the evening. POS TUNING won in the “Inno­va­tion” cate­gory and has now brought home its second trophy with this product.

The imple­men­ta­tion with a great team and the commu­ni­ca­tion with our clients went perfectly right from the start,” says Frank Lanzen­dor­fer, Custo­mer Direc­tor Busi­ness & Cate­gory Deve­lo­p­ment CPG at POS TUNING. He and Timm Becker, Head of Marke­ting at POS TUNING, recei­ved the award on behalf of the entire team.

The ice cream chan­nel is a new form of product place­ment in the frozen food section. Instead of the conven­tio­nal upright presen­ta­tion of ice cream cups, they are now stored hori­zon­tally in the free­zer cabi­net. This crea­tes a comple­tely new look at the front of the shelf, giving the products grea­ter shop­per aware­ness and better orien­ta­tion. Shelf main­ten­ance is also made easier and faster for employees on the shop floor. The tedious pulling to the front — which is parti­cu­larly diffi­cult in the frozen food section — is no longer neces­sary, as the products slide to the front auto­ma­ti­cally thanks to the proven push­feeds with built-in spring mecha­nism. Another special feature is the use of the second level. This not only makes opti­mum use of the available shelf space, but also draws atten­tion to the product. This is a real added value for brand manu­fac­tu­r­ers, as it lite­rally sets them apart from the compe­ti­tion.

POS TUNING had alre­ady won the Display Super­star Award last year with the ice chan­nel. The maga­zine “Display” awarded the product gold in the “Shelf” cate­gory and also presen­ted POS TUNING with the special prize for inno­va­tion.

The company is also no longer a stran­ger to the SHOP! Award, the company is no longer an unknown quan­tity. Last year, the Energy Zone alre­ady won the SHOP! Global Award in gold and in 2023 the POS T.Rex was also awarded.

Store! is a global, non-profit trade asso­cia­tion repre­sen­ting more than 2000 member compa­nies world­wide. The aim of the asso­cia­tion is to promote the impro­ve­ment of retail envi­ron­ments and expe­ri­en­ces. The SHOP! awards reco­gnize outstan­ding achie­ve­ments in POS marke­ting: from clas­sic POS mate­ri­als and digi­tal media to complex sales support measu­res. There are various cate­go­ries into which appli­cants can be clas­si­fied. These include visual merchan­di­sing, retail design, shop­fit­ting, shop-in-shop systems and flag­ship stores.
