The POS‑T VARUS glide system makes use of gravity. Instead of a classic pushfeed system, which works with different spring strengths and the resulting pushing force, the glide system only requires a glide mat. On this mat, even heavy and bulky products such as drinks or canned goods slide optimally and evenly to the front of the shelf. Thanks to the precisely calculated inclination on which the products slide forwards, it is also ensured that the goods are moved safely and undamaged. The continuous front presentation saves time and personnel costs and offers a perfect shopper experience.

How the gentle gliding system works for your products
Gravity, or the force of attraction, manifests itself in the mutual attraction of masses. In simple terms, on earth this means that bodies fall towards the center of the earth. We use this force for our POS‑T VARUS glide system: the products are placed on a kind of ramp which, together with the VARUS mat, functions like a slide. Thanks to the special material composition and a precisely calculated angle of inclination, the products only slide as fast as the weight of the goods allows. The front panel attached to the front of the shelf stops the product gently and safely.
A so-called shelf divider ensures that the product rows are organized and subdivided. This also keeps the goods stable.
The glide profile makes use of gravity and gently moves heavy or bulky products to the front of the shelf. The precise angle of inclination prevents damage.
The front profile can be ordered in different heights and prevents the goods from falling out.
With a cool curve — our VARUS curve nestles perfectly against the round bottles and allows them to slide gently onto the neighboring side.

You only need 3–4 components for the POS‑T VARUS sliding system. The adapter profile with the front panel, the VARUS sliding mat and shelf dividers. Optionally, you can also purchase wheel chocks to achieve the required angle of inclination.
Can I install the VARUS glide system in any shelving unit?
Any commercially available shelving unit can be fitted with the POS TUNING VARUS glide system. No conversion or conversion to other shelving units is necessary. All that is required for the sliding function is an angle of inclination. You get this automatically with inclined shelves. If a shelf is not inclined, you can create the inclination using a wheel chock.
What does the system cost?

What do I do if I have a conversion?
When converting, you can easily uninstall the POS‑T VARUS glide system and then reinstall it. The VARUS SLIDING MAT can be removed in its entirety (without the products), cleaned and then repositioned. You do not need any aids or tools.
