As a plas­tics proces­sing company, POS TUNING has a special respon­si­bi­lity with regard to an undis­tur­bed house­hold of nature. We are aware of the role we play and review each proces­sing step in terms of the inter­play between people and the envi­ron­ment. Thus, our products are tail­o­red for special longe­vity. We produce quali­ta­tively on the highest tech­ni­cal stan­dard, because we want that only the best products leave our house. We attach great importance to the selec­tion of mate­ri­als and recy­cle the recy­clable mate­ri­als directly in-house where­ver possi­ble. We heat our buil­dings with heat reco­very from the compres­sed air gene­ra­ted by our machi­nes and we will be conver­ting our vehicle fleet to e‑mobility in the future. Every single step, no matter how small, is a step toward a more sustainable future.

Goals for sustainable development

We act consciously! With its product port­fo­lio and inno­va­tive deve­lo­p­ment proces­ses, POS TUNING directly supports the 17 Sustainable Deve­lo­p­ment Goals (SDGs) of the United Nati­ons. These goals were laun­ched in 2015 to ensure sustainable deve­lo­p­ment world­wide on an econo­mic, social and ecolo­gi­cal level.

As a plas­tics proces­sing company, we have a special respon­si­bi­lity towards the envi­ron­ment and society. That is why we are actively commit­ted to desig­ning our products, mate­ri­als and proces­ses in such a way that they are in line with the SDGs. Whether through resource-conser­ving produc­tion, the deve­lo­p­ment of dura­ble and recy­clable products or the use of recy­cla­tes — we show that sustainable manage­ment and inno­va­tive plas­tics proces­sing can go hand in hand.

For us, the SDGs are not a theo­re­ti­cal concept, but a clear basis for action. With every step along our value chain, we make a contri­bu­tion to a more liveable future.

The future is close to our hearts and we act accor­din­gly every day. We were even awarded the valuable seal of appr­oval from the German Insti­tute for Sustaina­bi­lity and Econo­mics for this. Ecova­dis has also reco­gni­zed our commit­ment with an award. We are also a member of the climate initia­tive of the cham­bers of commerce and indus­try in “East West­pha­lia-Lippe”
