We believe that the footprint we leave should not be limited to the environment. How we position ourselves in society and see ourselves as a “driving force” must be at least as important. Fair working conditions and a healthy and safe working environment are the cornerstones of our social responsibility.
As a family-run business, the well-being of our employees—and in particular, their ability to balance family and work—is very important to us. We also value collaboration with other organizations, which is why we support the Herford Zoo. We are also a partner of the Werl-Aspe Comprehensive School and regularly give students the opportunity to gain insight into the professional world through company tours or internships. Our apprentices also visit the school and talk about their apprenticeship programs. We also support sports in the region. For example, we sponsor SV Werl-Aspe and TBV Lemgo-Lippe. For several years now, we have done away with the traditional Christmas gifts and instead choose to donate to various national and international aid organizations.
