POS TUNING celebrates the expansion of the production site in Bad Salzuflen
On Friday, May 16, POS TUNING celebrated the expansion of the company site with many guests and employees. In addition to representatives from politics and the regional and national economy, many partners, customers and friends also took part in the event. The company, which was founded in a garage in 1998, now has 19,000 square meters of production, logistics and storage space at its disposal, as well as a modern event area.
In his welcoming speech, Managing Partner Oliver Voßhenrich focused on the motto of the celebration: “We celebrate progress!” — Progress needs space. And this space has now been created. However, progress also means not only continuously driving forward the mission “Make. Shopping. Simply. Better.”, but also offering space for sustainable and inclusive processes. By creating jobs for people with disabilities and focusing on sustainable production processes, the company is paving the way for the consistent further development of its corporate strategy.
The additional event area, which bears the name “punktAcht”, now also provides the opportunity to strengthen and expand customer networks. “We want to revive partner relationships and offer the perfect platform for this with this location,” said Oliver Voßhenrich, explaining the vision of the multifunctional premises.
In his speech, company founder Udo Voßhenrich emphasized the importance of customers for the success and growth of the company. “The real triggers for expansion are our customers. You can’t move forward without customers.” He said he was very proud of the development of POS TUNING and how progressively all the things he built up over 25 years ago are being continued.
In his speech, Bad Salzuflen’s mayor Dirk Tolkemitt also paid tribute to the company’s services to the region. Something great has been created that radiates far beyond the borders of Lippe. Trust in the Lippe location also creates trust in the people who live and work here.
Volker Steinbach also addressed the topic of trust in his speech. The President of the Lippe Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Detmold focused on the impetus that POS TUNING also provides for other companies. Innovative strength paired with confidence in the location is a strong and visible sign for the economy in Lippe.
Michael Gerling made it clear in his words that perseverance and modesty are the keys to success. The Managing Director of the EHI Retail Institute had also traveled from Cologne for the opening and was impressed by the company’s history. Bad Salzuflen is everywhere. POS TUNING products can be found all over the world. And this is mainly due to the perseverance of company founder Udo Voßhenrich. Not only did he firmly believe in his idea at the time, he also drove it forward with heart and passion.
Following the official part of the event, the guests were given several guided tours to gain exciting insights into the new production and work areas. The event was rounded off with a barbecue on the new roof terrace — a place that will not only be used for events in the future, but also for creative breaks and exchanges during the working day.
