Our international team is growing – and we’re delighted to welcome three new colleagues, Théo, Olga and Margherita, who bring not only a wealth of experience but also a wide range of different perspectives.

Théo is strengthening our team in France as Key Account Manager. He already knows the market well, having previously worked in business development for one of our competitors. What particularly appeals to him about his new role? Developing long-term strategies together with our customers and building partnerships that go beyond the classic supplier relationship.

Above all, Théo is analytical. While he greatly values direct dialogue with customers, when it comes to business decisions he prefers to rely on figures and sales data rather than gut feeling. Or, as he describes himself: strategic, customer-oriented and results-driven.

Also new at POS TUNING France: Margherita Rossi has joined as Sales Manager and will take on the role of Country Manager for France starting in January 2027. After nine years at Carrefour and a further two and a half years at Ultimate Products, she brings both retail and sales experience.

For Margherita, the team is her top priority. She wants to support people, build performance together, and continue to drive POS TUNING France forward in terms of both revenue and margin. At the same time, building long-term relationships with existing and new customers is important to her. She describes her way of working as team-oriented, results-driven and entrepreneurial – and it quickly becomes clear from her answers that team spirit means far more to her than just a nice phrase.

The Shop! D‑A-CH Award is one of the most prestigious awards for innovations and solutions at the point of sale in German-speaking countries. We are therefore all the more pleased that two of our systems were able to impress the expert jury.

Our POS‑T Udo Safe won the gold award in the Permanent Displays category. Our POS‑T SuperVario also won silver in its category.

The award-winning solutions address issues that are currently of particular concern to retailers: greater efficiency on the shelves, high flexibility in adapting to changing product assortments, and effective theft prevention strategies. In doing so, they tackle the challenges that retailers must overcome on a daily basis.

For us, these awards are a testament to our commitment to developing practical solutions for the point of sale. For more than 25 years, we have been helping retailers and manufacturers make their products stand out, streamline processes, and successfully design retail spaces.

We are very pleased to have brought home two awards to Bad Salzuflen, and this confirms that we are on the right track in consistently aligning our innovations with the needs of the retail sector.

POS TUNING is breaking new ground in communication at EuroShop 2026 in Düsseldorf with an unusual, eye-catching trade fair concept. Visitors can expect a consistent comic world that focuses on real challenges at the point of sale and turns POS TUNING products into solutions that are used by real heroes.

When retail faces challenges, the mission begins

Typical problems from everyday store life are addressed in independent but thematically linked comic episodes: Increased workload, time pressure, theft or staff shortages. Each short story follows a clear dramaturgical principle: a real problem comes to a head — success at the point of sale is at stake.

This is exactly when the “Mission Possible” (pun: POS-sible, based on the company name) begins and the rescuers enter the stage. Staged as superheroes or superheroines, they are representative of POS TUNING’s solutions. With humor, recognition value and a wink, the comics show how even complex challenges can be mastered easily, safely and efficiently — and how immediately the situation in the market improves.

Entertainment meets expertise

“The comic format makes complex topics emotionally accessible and ensures that solutions are not only understood, but also remembered,” says Maren Brettmeier, Deputy Head of Marketing at POS TUNING, describing the idea behind the concept “At the same time, POS TUNING positions itself as a competent, likeable and human brand that understands the trade and meets it at eye level. Challenges become visible — solutions tangible!”

The exhibits: solutions for real everyday trading

At EuroShop 2026, POS TUNING will showcase the entire spectrum of modern product presentation in a clearly structured, experience-oriented presentation. The exhibits cover numerous product ranges and application areas — from drugstore and cosmetics (summarized under the term “Personal Care”) to beverages, confectionery and frozen food to Tobacco& NGP and Dark Market applications.

One of the main topics is theft protection. With the POS‑T Udo Safe, POS TUNING has developed a theft-proof presentation solution that shows that attractive product presentation and security are not mutually exclusive. The highlight: high-priced goods are securely placed behind a transparent display door. Thanks to the pushfeed systems, the front presentation of the goods is guaranteed. With the help of sensor technology, which can be activated via a proximity sensor through the closed pane, the goods can be removed at the touch of a finger. The special feature here is that only one product at a time can be activated for removal. The POS‑T Udo Safe is a real benefit for the SCO (Self-Check-Out) — tobacco products that are currently completely absent from many SCOs can now suddenly be sold.

Another highlight is the POS‑T SuperVario, which takes the presentation of bottles and cans in sizes XS to XL to a new level with its unique flexibility. A single system for a wide range of formats — including square packaging — variable from 53 to 97 mm, easily adjustable with a finger. Whether on the shelf or in the chiller, the POS‑T SuperVario adapts flexibly to any product size and always ensures a perfect front presentation. Thanks to an intelligent mechanism, a single movement is all it takes to adjust the width. The material-saving design, improved gliding properties and full compatibility with existing POS TUNING systems make planogram changes child’s play.

But that’s not all: the POS‑T Vincent demonstrates that efficient shelf maintenance and organization is possible with just one system for almost all retail categories. Previously, there were different pushfeeds and pushfeed strengths within a category (e.g. deodorant required a different pushfeed than shampoo). To make frequent planogram changes in particular as easy as possible for retail employees, POS TUNING is now launching a solution on the market that only requires one pushfeed. This makes conversions easy for retailers. Optimized sliding surfaces and refined technology make the POS‑T Vincent an all-rounder for retailers — that’s automation at its best!

POS TUNING once again shows that nothing is impossible in the frozen food sector: the horizontal presentation of ice cream cups — which has now won an award(Display Superstar Award in Gold) — is already being used successfully throughout Europe. Now there is a new variant: the POS‑T Skadi ice cream lift. Developed for freezer cabinets, the ice cream cups are gently pushed upwards with the pushfeed, similar to a small elevator. This ensures perfect visibility and order in the freezer and both store staff and customers can access the goods effortlessly.

Further attractive solutions for frozen food and promotional goods or new concepts for the presentation of tobacco or next-generation products (NGP) await visitors to the trade fair.

All the exhibits have one thing in common: the focus is always on a combination of visibility, clarity and easy handling — adapted to different packaging shapes, sizes and weights. Instead of individual products, the focus is on concrete answers to real challenges: practical, understandable and can be experienced directly at the point of sale.

Invitation to the mission

With “Mission Possible”, POS TUNING combines information and experience to create a trade fair presentation that arouses curiosity, inspires and remains in the memory. Customers, trade fair visitors and media representatives are invited to discover the comic world, experience the missions and see for themselves that every challenge in retail can be solved.

POS TUNING has done it again: the golden Display Superstar Award has once again gone to Bad Salzuflen. The “Ricola Systemtray” convinced the jury and the expert audience in the categories “Shelf Displays” and “Technical Implementation”. After the double success with the doublestack presenter for ice cream cups last year, POS TUNER can now look forward to two more trophies.

“These awards show us once again that our aim of optimally connecting brands and retailers with our products and making them strong sellers is exactly the right way to go,” says Timm Becker (Head of Marketing at POS TUNING). He accepted the awards in Mainz on behalf of the POS TUNING team. The awards are also the result of the great cooperation with the customer CFP Brands Süßwarenhandels GmbH & Co KG, which distributes the Ricola brand in Germany, among others, he emphasizes.

Together with CFP Brands, they worked on optimizing brand and product visibility and then decided on the POS‑T Systemtray. Anyone who has been following the history of POS TUNING for a while will be familiar with the POS‑T Systemtray. After all, it is something of a product from the very beginning. Company founder Udo Voßhenrich revolutionized the point of sale with his idea more than 25 years ago.

And the Ricola system tray shows that this idea still works perfectly. The principle is still the same as it was in 1998: a cardboard box is provided with a slot on the underside, then this box is placed on the POS TUNING pushfeed system and goods can be placed and presented in the simplest possible way in retail.

This simplicity, which is rounded off by sophisticated brand communication, was able to prevail in the competition.

The Display Superstar Award is presented annually by display Verlag and is considered the most important award in the POS industry. An expert jury and an expert audience evaluate the submitted exhibits according to criteria such as design, technical execution, functionality and degree of innovation.

On Friday, May 16, POS TUNING celebrated the expansion of the company site with many guests and employees. In addition to representatives from politics and the regional and national economy, many partners, customers and friends also took part in the event. The company, which was founded in a garage in 1998, now has 19,000 square meters of production, logistics and storage space at its disposal, as well as a modern event area.

In his welcoming speech, Managing Partner Oliver Voßhenrich focused on the motto of the celebration: “We celebrate progress!” — Progress needs space. And this space has now been created. However, progress also means not only continuously driving forward the mission “Make. Shopping. Simply. Better.”, but also offering space for sustainable and inclusive processes. By creating jobs for people with disabilities and focusing on sustainable production processes, the company is paving the way for the consistent further development of its corporate strategy.

The additional event area, which bears the name “punktAcht”, now also provides the opportunity to strengthen and expand customer networks. “We want to revive partner relationships and offer the perfect platform for this with this location,” said Oliver Voßhenrich, explaining the vision of the multifunctional premises.

In his speech, company founder Udo Voßhenrich emphasized the importance of customers for the success and growth of the company. “The real triggers for expansion are our customers. You can’t move forward without customers.” He said he was very proud of the development of POS TUNING and how progressively all the things he built up over 25 years ago are being continued.

In his speech, Bad Salzuflen’s mayor Dirk Tolkemitt also paid tribute to the company’s services to the region. Something great has been created that radiates far beyond the borders of Lippe. Trust in the Lippe location also creates trust in the people who live and work here.

Volker Steinbach also addressed the topic of trust in his speech. The President of the Lippe Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Detmold focused on the impetus that POS TUNING also provides for other companies. Innovative strength paired with confidence in the location is a strong and visible sign for the economy in Lippe.

Michael Gerling made it clear in his words that perseverance and modesty are the keys to success. The Managing Director of the EHI Retail Institute had also traveled from Cologne for the opening and was impressed by the company’s history. Bad Salzuflen is everywhere. POS TUNING products can be found all over the world. And this is mainly due to the perseverance of company founder Udo Voßhenrich. Not only did he firmly believe in his idea at the time, he also drove it forward with heart and passion.

Following the official part of the event, the guests were given several guided tours to gain exciting insights into the new production and work areas. The event was rounded off with a barbecue on the new roof terrace — a place that will not only be used for events in the future, but also for creative breaks and exchanges during the working day.

On Thursday evening, POS TUNING received silver for its horizontal ice cream cup presentation solution. 37 submitted projects were selected by the SHOP! D‑A-CH Association were assessed in jury sessions and the best received the coveted prizes in Neuss (Germany) in the evening. POS TUNING won in the “Innovation” category and has now brought home its second trophy with this product.

“We are delighted with this award because it shows us that we have understood exactly what our customers want and need with this product. The implementation with a great team and the communication with our clients went perfectly right from the start,” says Frank Lanzendorfer, Customer Director Business & Category Development CPG at POS TUNING. He and Timm Becker, Head of Marketing at POS TUNING, received the award on behalf of the entire team.

The ice cream channel is a new form of product placement in the frozen food section. Instead of the conventional upright presentation of ice cream cups, they are now stored horizontally in the freezer cabinet. This creates a completely new look at the front of the shelf, giving the products greater shopper awareness and better orientation. Shelf maintenance is also made easier and faster for employees on the shop floor. The tedious pulling to the front — which is particularly difficult in the frozen food section — is no longer necessary, as the products slide to the front automatically thanks to the proven pushfeeds with built-in spring mechanism. Another special feature is the use of the second level. This not only makes optimum use of the available shelf space, but also draws attention to the product. This is a real added value for brand manufacturers, as it literally sets them apart from the competition.

POS TUNING had already won the Display Superstar Award last year with the ice channel. The magazine “Display” awarded the product gold in the “Shelf” category and also presented POS TUNING with the special prize for innovation.

The company is also no longer a stranger to the SHOP! Award, the company is no longer an unknown quantity. Last year, the Energy Zone already won the SHOP! Global Award in gold and in 2023 the POS T.Rex was also awarded.

Store! is a global, non-profit trade association representing more than 2000 member companies worldwide. The aim of the association is to promote the improvement of retail environments and experiences. The SHOP! awards recognize outstanding achievements in POS marketing: from classic POS materials and digital media to complex sales support measures. There are various categories into which applicants can be classified. These include visual merchandising, retail design, shopfitting, shop-in-shop systems and flagship stores.
